Titijya - Notice Of Book Closure

Subdivision of every 1 ordinary share in Titijaya Land Berhad ("TLB") into 2 ordinary shares in TLB ("Subdivided Shares") held at 5.00 p.m. on 28 December 2017 ("Entitlement Date") ("Subdivision").

Kindly be advised of the following : 

1)  The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted "Ex - Offer” as from: 26 Dec 2017
2)  The last date of lodgment : 28 Dec 2017

Remarks 1: "Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place after 28 December 2017 with subdivision TITIJYA shares. Any shareholder who is entitled to receive TITIJYA subdivision shares, may sell any or all of his TITIJYA shares arising from the subdivision beginning the Ex-Date (26 December 2017).

For example, if Mr X purchases 100 TITIJYA shares on cum basis on  22 December 2017, Mr X should receive 100 shares on 28 December 2017. As a result of the with subdivision, 200 TITIJYA shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 28 December 2017 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell the with subdivision shares of 200 on or after the Ex-Date ie from 26 December 2017 onwards.

Remarks 2:- The date of listing and quotation for the Subdivided Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") will be on 29 December 2017, being the next market day following the Entitlement Date.

The notice of allotment for the Subdivided Shares will be issued and despatched to the entitled shareholders of TLB at the address as per the Record of Depositors within 4 market days after the date of the listing of and quotation for the Subdivided Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.
